Social Media Strategy · Conversion Marketing

Social media that actually sells.

You've been showing up. Posting, creating, staying visible. The problem isn't effort. It's what people need to feel before they're ready to take the next step.

If you're here, you're probably doing the work and not seeing the sales.

Posting consistently. Showing up on the apps. Watching the numbers refuse to move.

Or your business is growing and the social media doesn't sound like you anymore. The posts work. You don't recognize yourself in them.

Or your feed feels random. You're posting, but it doesn't add up to anything. The pieces don't fit.

And the hard part is, you've been doing everything right. Staying consistent. Showing up. And it's becoming draining.

You're not crazy. You're not behind. You're probably just missing something nobody has named for you yet.

This is almost never a content problem. It's a strategy problem. And it stays invisible until someone points to it.

Most people who feel stuck have one of these four problems.

Read these slowly. The point isn't to make you feel called out. The point is to help you name what you've been feeling. Once you can see it, you can fix it.

01
What you see

You're posting consistently and the numbers won't move.

What's actually happening

Your content is getting people to look at you, but it isn't getting them to buy from you. Those are two different jobs. Most people only do one and wonder why the other isn't happening.

02
What you see

You're getting engagement but not sales.

What's actually happening

People are watching you. They're liking, commenting, and then leaving. There's no clear next step for them. Your social media is doing the easy part. The harder part is being on purpose about where you want them to go.

03
What you see

They like. They follow. They don't buy.

What's actually happening

Your audience knows you exist. They like what they see. But nothing in the content tells them why they need what you sell, or what to do next. So people stay fans. They don't become buyers.

04
What you see

You're consistent. You're showing up. You're exhausted.

What's actually happening

Every post takes the same effort as the last one. There's no system carrying the weight underneath. So every time, you're reaching for new ideas, new captions, new energy. That's not a marketing strategy. That's a treadmill.

Naming what's happening is the first half of the work. Building what's missing is the second. That's what The Social Charlotte does.

What Most People Try First

More posts. Better graphics. More hashtags. Another content calendar. Another course. Another trend.

Most founders don't need more content. They need a system that helps the right people move from attention to trust to action.

The Work

We don't just post.
We position.

Most marketing advice will tell you to post more. Optimize your hook. Beat the algorithm.

We do something different. We study what's happening and we ask why it's happening. The patterns tell one story. The people behind them tell the other. The real strategy lives where they meet.

We've used this work to take retail brands from chasing reach to actually selling. To turn course launches from anxious to predictable. To help service founders find the clients who were already looking for them. $12M+ in revenue across real estate, retail, digital courses, and entertainment.

Marketing is to people. Everything else follows.

Three steps. One real connection.

01
Discovery

We get to know your work

Your story, your values, what you've actually built. The patterns that make what you do unmistakable. The parts most marketers miss because they never slow down to look.

02
Research

We research your audience

What they want. What's stopping them. What would actually move them to act. This is where most marketers stop. It's where we start.

03
Connection

We build the connection

The content, the copy, the strategy, the calls to action. The whole social media system that turns your work into the conversations that sell it.

This is the infrastructure between you and your audience. Built to hold the connection, not just fill a feed.

The same research process helped support a $3M revenue year inside Power Your Launch.

How one person becomes a customer.

Most marketing thinks about the post. We think about the path. Here's what we're building beneath every piece of content.

01
Attraction

They notice us. The hook does the work.

02
Warmth

They come back. The voice does the work.

03
Trust

They believe us. The proof does the work.

04
The Next Step

They move. The call to action does the work.

The Base
Research

Who they are. Where they came from. What they need to feel before they're ready to move.

Each stage needs different work. Underneath all of it, the research that makes the work hit.

This framework has supported hospitality brands, founders, sports organizations, and education companies.

The questions we ask before we ever post.

The strategy isn't built on the platform or the algorithm. It's built on the answers to these.

01

Who is this person?

Specific. Not a segment.

02

Where did they come from?

Context shapes everything they hear.

03

How do they think?

Their internal logic is our copy direction.

04

What environment are they in?

A Tuesday in Cape Town isn't a Tuesday in Houston.

05

Who do they already trust?

Trust is borrowed before it's earned.

The post is the visible part. This is what made it work.

These questions have guided work across retail, hospitality, education, and entertainment.

The strategy is the connection.
The content is just how we carry it.

What it actually takes to get people to buy.

Three principles underneath the work. The same ones we use whether the brand is selling tickets, courses, or table reservations.

Principle 01

Patterns worth watching

Watch the numbers that actually count. Not the ones that just feel good.

The work is built for a specific kind of founder.

This is for you if

  • You have something real to sell and you want it to actually convert
  • You're tired of social media being one more thing you have to do
  • You're tired of marketing that doesn't sound anything like you
  • You want growth that holds, not just numbers that look good on a screenshot
  • You're willing to learn your audience as deeply as you know your work
  • You want to be part of the strategy, not just hand it off and hope

This isn't for you if

  • You're looking for someone to just post pretty things and walk away
  • You expect overnight results or viral hacks
  • You haven't worked out what you actually sell yet
  • You'd rather chase trends than study your audience
  • You want a strategy that doesn't require your honest involvement

Not sure what you need yet?

Most founders don't need more options. They need help identifying the next right step. Read the three sentences below. The one that sounds the most like the inside of your head points to where to start.

What people ask before they book a session.

What's the difference between your three services?

The Strategy Intensive is a one-time, ninety-minute deep dive. We sit down, look at your business honestly, and you walk away with a plan you can act on yourself.

Organic Social Media is the done-for-you version. We take over one platform end to end. Strategy, content, posting, engagement.

Paid Ads Management is for when you're ready to scale acquisition. We build and run Meta ad campaigns that convert.

Most people start with a Strategy Intensive and graduate to retainer when they're ready.

How do you actually learn my business and my audience?

Before we strategize, we research. We read your existing content, your competitors' comment sections, your community's DMs and reviews. We talk to you directly about who keeps showing up, who's converting, and who isn't.

The strategy is built on what your audience is actually saying, not on what we assume. This is the part most marketers skip. It's also the part that determines whether the rest of the work converts.

How long until I see real results?

Most people see results immediately. Especially when they trust the process and commit to building the infrastructure.

The shift usually starts in the first session. Clarity you couldn't get on your own. Language that finally fits. A plan you can actually execute. Momentum follows within weeks of implementation.

The compounding growth, the deeper community, the steady conversion, that builds over time. But the shift starts fast. The slow part isn't the results. The slow part is staying with the build when it stops feeling new.

I'm not ready to invest at retainer level yet. Is there a way in?

Yes. Most people start with the Strategy Intensive, which is a one-time five-hundred-dollar session. It gives you a real plan you can execute yourself for the next ninety days.

When you're ready for more support, you can come back. Some people stay on intensives. Some upgrade to retainer. Some take what they learned and run with it for a year. All of those are real options.

How is this different from hiring a social media manager?

Most social media management is execution-only. Someone takes your existing direction and runs the posting calendar. The strategy, the audience research, the conversion architecture, the reason behind every post, that's not their job, and it's not in their fee.

We build the whole system. The strategy comes first, then the content carries it, then the engagement supports it. If you've been frustrated that posting alone isn't converting, that's why. Posting was never the missing piece.

How much time do I need to commit on my end?

Less than you think, but more than zero. For retainer clients, expect about two hours a month for strategy calls and content approval.

For the Strategy Intensive, it's the ninety-minute session plus whatever follow-up you want to do with the action plan afterward.

Either way, you stay involved enough that the work stays yours. You don't have to manage it. You just have to be present for the parts that need you.

Do I need a large audience for this to work?

No. Audience size is often the symptom, not the bottleneck. Plenty of brands have small audiences that convert at much higher rates than large ones, because the right people are in the room and the architecture is built for them.

We've worked with founders building from a few hundred followers and with founders sitting on tens of thousands. The work is the same. Get clear on who you're talking to, build the path from attention to action, and let the audience grow on top of a system that actually sells.

What if I've worked with marketers before and it didn't go well?

That's a common starting point and worth naming. The most common pattern we see is that the last engagement focused on output (posts, graphics, calendar) without a research foundation underneath. The content gets made. The conversion gap stays.

The work here starts at the research layer. Who the customer is, where they came from, what they actually need to feel before they're ready to move. Content sits on top of that. If you've been burned before, the Strategy Intensive is the lowest-risk way to see whether the approach makes sense for your business before any longer commitment.

What if social media isn't my strongest skill?

Honest answer: social media is a craft, and most people running businesses came up doing something else. That's not a problem to solve. It's a starting point to be honest about.

You don't have to become a social media expert to use this work. The Strategy Intensive gives you a plan you can act on without needing to be one. The retainer services exist for people who'd rather not learn the craft at all and let us handle it end to end.

What matters more than skill is clarity. Who you serve, what they need, where they get stuck. The execution is teachable. The clarity is what most people are missing.

Can this work for my industry?

Probably, yes. The method is research-first, which means we get to know the customer of any industry the same way. Past work has covered retail, real estate, hospitality, sports, digital education, professional services, and entertainment. The shape of the work changes. The fundamentals don't.

The clearest way to test fit is the Strategy Intensive. Ninety minutes is enough to see whether the approach maps to your business and your audience honestly. If it doesn't, you'll know, and so will we.

Nicole Crawley, founder of The Social Charlotte

I'm Nicole.

I'm a digital marketer. My focus is people.

That's what makes the work different. Most marketing strategy starts with a platform or a trend or a number. Mine starts with the people we're trying to reach. Who they are. What they need. What it would take for them to trust us and take the next step.

So I build the environment and the infrastructure on social media that gets people there. Then we amplify it. Research keeps us honest. The numbers tell us what's working. That's how a brand actually grows.

I'm a full-time nomad. I work from Philly, Mexico, Tanzania, South Africa, and most of the United States. Being on the move keeps me close to how people actually move through the world, and how differently they show up depending on the room they're in. That informs the work.

I trained at Wharton in the psychology of why people say yes. I've worked inside the Hornets organization and with over ten thousand founders inside the Power Your Launch marketing accelerator. The throughline has been the same in every one of those rooms. It's the people. What they need to feel before they're ready to take the next step.

Always the people. Always the next step. That's the work. That's the whole point.
